What difference has YAP and the Youth Forum made to you?

YAP Ireland launch Annual Report 2017

We were delighted to launch our Annual Report for 2017 in the Dublin office on Thursday 5th April. Significant findings in the report include that 83% of young people reported an improvement in their self-esteem and confidence, 89% reported an improvement in self-harm behaviours, 86% reported an improvement in substance abuse, 77% reported an improvement in anger issues and 83% reported an improvement in their emotional wellbeing.

Parents Participation Fitness Class

Well done to the parents in our Dublin parents participation group who have started exercise classes to learn some new tips for keeping fit!

YAP Profiles and Outcome Reports for 2017 now available!

We've released the National and Area Profiles and Outcomes Reports for 2017 on our website. You can view the full reports on the Research and Publications section of the website.

First Youth Forum of 2018

We kicked off with our first Youth Forum of 2018 today. Over 30 young people and advocates joined us in our Dublin office to talk about this year's theme - "Mind Yourself, Mind Each Other: Young People Speak Out On Mental Health and Wellbeing."

Pancake Tuesday in the YAP National office

We had a very busy day in the Dublin office on Tuesday 13th February. We had interviews for new Advocates and we also had training for young people who wish to be on these interview panels.

YAP parent Elena's handmade 3D Christmas Card

Thank you so much to Elena who brought in a special handmade 3D Christmas card to the Dublin office this morning. She wanted to say thanks for everything YAP has done for her daughter this year.

Parents Participation Group Christmas Breakfast

Our parent participation group came in for a festive Christmas breakfast this morning, tempting all of us in the Dublin office with the smell of a fry up and some Christmas tunes!
